Refund policy

Your rights under Australian Consumer Law
Our goods come with guarantees that cannot be excluded under the Australian Consumer Law. You are entitled to a replacement or refund for a major failure and compensation for any other reasonably foreseeable loss or damage. You are also entitled to have the goods repaired or replaced if they fail to be of acceptable quality and the failure does not amount to a major failure.
This policy is in addition to your rights under the Australian Consumer Law.
Change of Mind Returns
If you change your mind, you may request a return within 30 days of receiving your order, provided that:
- The product was purchased directly from www.luddi.com.au
- The product is unopened, unused, and in its original packaging
- You provide proof of purchase
Due to the intimate nature of our products, we cannot accept change of mind returns for items that have been opened or used.
Return shipping costs for change of mind returns are the responsibility of the customer. Original shipping costs are non-refundable.
To request a return, please contact hello@luddi.com.au before sending any item back. Unauthorised returns will not be accepted.
Purchases from Retailers
If you purchased your Luddi product from a retailer or authorised stockist, all return, refund and warranty claims must be directed to the original place of purchase.
We are unable to process refunds or replacements for products not purchased directly from www.luddi.com.au.
Faulty or Defective Products
If you believe your product is faulty, please contact us at hello@luddi.com.au with:
- Proof of purchase
- A description of the issue
- Video demonstrating the fault, where reasonably requested
Requesting video evidence helps us assess the issue efficiently and determine the appropriate outcome.
If a product is confirmed to be faulty under Australian Consumer Law, we will offer a replacement or refund as appropriate.
We may require the product to be returned for inspection before a replacement or refund is issued.
5 Year Limited Warranty
In addition to your rights under Australian Consumer Law, Luddi provides a voluntary 5 year limited warranty from the date of purchase covering internal motor failure or manufacturing defects under normal domestic use. This limited warranty:
- Applies to products purchased from www.luddi.com.au or authorised Australian retailers
- Requires proof of purchase
- Covers internal motor failure and manufacturing defects only
This limited warranty does not cover:
- Battery performance degradation over time
- Charging cables or accessories
- Cosmetic wear and tear
- Damage caused by misuse, neglect, improper storage or unauthorised modification
- Water damage beyond the product’s stated rating
- Normal wear and tear
If a product is confirmed to have a covered defect within the 5 year warranty period, we will provide a replacement or refund. This limited warranty does not limit or replace your rights under Australian Consumer Law.
General Conditions
We reserve the right to refuse claims that are fraudulent, unreasonable, or outside the scope of this policy or Australian Consumer Law. Approved refunds will be issued to the original payment method. Please allow time for your financial institution to process the transaction.
